Community Outreach Events
Every community event is another opportunity to share knowledge that can save a life.
Through our community outreach events, the FreediveSafe team sets up educational booths where divers, spearfishers, families, and ocean enthusiasts can stop by, ask questions, and access free dive safety resources.
We believe lifesaving education should never be limited by cost or accessibility. Whether it’s learning the fundamentals of the buddy system, understanding ocean hazards, choosing the right safety equipment, or picking up waterproof safety guides to take on your next dive, our goal is to make reliable information available to everyone.
Some of the most meaningful conversations happen across our outreach table—experienced divers sharing local knowledge, kūpuna passing on generations of wisdom, parents looking to keep their children safe, and new divers eager to learn the right way from the very beginning.
Every brochure handed out, every question answered, and every conversation shared helps build a stronger culture of safety throughout Hawaiʻi’s diving community.
Mahalo to everyone who stops by to learn, share, and support our mission. Together, we’re making ocean safety education more accessible—one conversation at a time.
