2024 Hawai’i Diver Ho’olaule’a

Dive deep into Hawaii’s rich ocean traditions at the 2024 Hawaii Diver Ho’olaule’a, happening on November 16 at La’i’opua 2020, Kailua-Kona! This free, all-ages community event is packed with hands-on workshops, thrilling presentations, and opportunities to level up your skills. Get expert tips on spearfishing safety, learn essential first aid skills, master throw-net techniques, and watch a live gyotaku fish-printing demonstration. Perfect for beginners and seasoned divers alike, there’s something for everyone, including a special three-prong workshop. Come hungry – the BBQ food truck will be ready to serve up delicious bites all day!

As the sun sets, get ready for the event’s grand finale: the Throw Net Championship Round, followed by an unforgettable fire-dancer performance. Hosted by pro diver and Hawaii legend Justin Lee, the celebration will be filmed by Hawaii Skin Diver TV, capturing the fun! Don’t miss this unique chance to celebrate our island heritage, make new friends, and learn from the best.
